The M.V. Deepstar

The M.V. Deepstar was built in Picton in 1979 and caters for live on board parties of up to 10 passengers and up to 20 passengers for day fishing trips, plus crew. She holds 5000 litres of fresh water, 2500 litres of fuel, and has a full size toilet and shower facilities. 

All Charters provide their own food (unless specified) and cold drinks. All Charters and individuals need to bring their own ice. Tea and coffee is provided. For Private Charters, a BBQ is on board for your use, plus oven and hobbs.
When you take fishing trips with us, you can board in Tauranga or Mount Maunganui and will be able to purchase rods and bait on the boat. If you would like to bring your own gear, we can make recommendations, depending on the type of trip you book.  

NO EFTPOS

Please note, we do not have Eftpos facilities, we take cash, and bank transfer only.


A deposit applies to group bookings of 3 people or more and is required when booking has been confirmed. This will be refunded if the trip is cancelled due to the weather or a new date can be made which suits your party. All cancellations are made by the skipper.


Final payments must be made before or on the day of your trip.
